A vibrant original painting inspired by one of Zagreb’s most iconic and beloved places — Dolac Market.

Located in the heart of the city, just steps from Ban Jelačić Square, Dolac has been part of Zagreb’s everyday life since 1930. Its recognizable red umbrellas, colorful market stalls, fresh produce, and constant movement create an atmosphere filled with warmth, tradition, and authentic local character.

Dolac holds a personal meaning for me as well. Every time we visited Zagreb, we returned to this market, drawn to its energy, vivid colors, and unmistakable atmosphere. Those memories and impressions became the inspiration behind this painting.

Through expressive brushwork and vibrant color, I wanted to capture not only the appearance of Dolac Market, but also the feeling of being there — the movement, warmth, and everyday rhythm of Zagreb.

Every detail was painted by me using my feet, making this artwork completely unique and deeply connected to my personal artistic journey.

This artwork was selected to be exhibited in Zagreb on December 17.

This artwork was exhibited at the international exhibition “Boundless Imagination” in Ljubljana, Slovenia, held at the Liszt Institute – Cultural Center of the Hungarian Embassy from December 5, 2025, to January 15, 2026.

The exhibition brought together international mouth and foot painting artists and presented a total of 48 artworks, celebrating different cities, landscapes, and cultures through art.
