Boundless Imagination: Exhibiting My Art in Ljubljana
I’m happy to share another special moment from my artistic journey — taking part in the international exhibition “Boundless Imagination” in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The exhibition was organized by the Slovenian Publishing House and held at the Liszt Institute – Cultural Center of the Hungarian Embassy in Ljubljana, from December 5, 2025, to January 15, 2026.
Artists from Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina took part in the exhibition, presenting a total of 48 paintings inspired by cities, landscapes, the sea, Lake Balaton and the cultures surrounding them. I had the honor of participating as an artist from Serbia.
The exhibition was officially opened by the Hungarian Ambassador to Slovenia, Dávid Ferenc Andor, and around 120 guests attended the opening.

Two of My Paintings in Ljubljana
For this exhibition, I presented two of my original city-inspired paintings — Colorful Ljubljana and Dolac Market, Zagreb.
Although both paintings portray completely different places and atmospheres, they share something that is very characteristic of my work: strong colors, expressive brushwork and my personal interpretation of places that inspire me.
Both paintings are original acrylic works on canvas, painted entirely with my feet.
Colorful Ljubljana — 60 × 80 cm / 23.6 × 31.5 in
For Colorful Ljubljana, I wanted to create my own vibrant interpretation of the Slovenian capital.
Rather than reproducing the city exactly as it appears, I approached Ljubljana through color and atmosphere, creating a bright and expressive cityscape in my own artistic style.
Having this painting exhibited in Ljubljana itself made the experience particularly meaningful to me.
The city that inspired the painting became the place where people could stand in front of the finished artwork and see my interpretation of it.
Dolac Market, Zagreb — 60 × 80 cm / 23.6 × 31.5 in
The second painting I exhibited was Dolac Market, Zagreb, inspired by one of Zagreb’s most recognizable places.
Dolac has a personal meaning to me. Whenever we visited Zagreb, we found ourselves returning to the market, surrounded by its famous red umbrellas, colorful stalls and the everyday movement of the city.
Those memories eventually became the inspiration for this painting.
Through vivid colors and expressive brushwork, I wanted to capture more than the appearance of Dolac. I wanted to capture the warmth, movement and atmosphere I remembered from being there.
Being Part of an International Exhibition
One of the things I appreciate about exhibitions like Boundless Imagination is seeing how artists from different countries interpret places, landscapes and cultures through completely different artistic styles.
For me, art has always been a way of sharing how I see the world.
Every painting carries a little piece of a place, a memory or an experience — but transformed through my colors and the way I paint.
Seeing my works displayed alongside paintings by other mouth and foot painting artists from several countries was a beautiful reminder of how universal art can be.
And knowing that my paintings traveled from my studio in Serbia to an international exhibition in Ljubljana makes this another chapter of my journey that I’m very happy to share with you.
